'Can we see the tree trunks as well?'
If you ever found yourself stumbling over a simple task like I did, there is an ArchiCAD trick you might wanna know. Although #ArchiCAD allows users a certain level of customization when it comes to default library objects i.e like uploading a custom-made 2D symbol for a tree, I came across a different way of modifying the object to my needs. If you don't have an available resource or library, nor too much time on your hands like myself (deadlines won't wait), here's a way to modify your tree symbol in a blink.
Using the text box in the object's settings, simply fill that in with a #dot symbol (copy+paste) and voilà - 2D tree symbol with a trunk!
I am aware that there are other ways to do this, but if you don't have much time and need it done 'all at once', this is a nice workaround. It's fair to say this is not appropriate when you actually need the text box for precious information, but for the masterplan I was preparing at the time, it simply worked wonders.
